American Buildings has announced the winners of its 2022 Excellence in Design Awards. The competition is designed to highlight the diverse application and expansion of the metal building construction industry. Each project showcases new designs that illustrate innovative metal system construction.
Each year, American Buildings hosts the Excellence in Design Awards competition for all Authorized American Buildings Builders. American Buildings works with builders in helping them transform ideas into actual designs.
This year, judges chose from over 100 entries and selected the best projects in each of the following categories: Agriculture; Auto Dealership; Church/Religious Centers; Commercial; Government/Institutional; Manufacturing/Industrial; Office; Recreation; Retail; Special Projects; Transportation; and Warehouse/Distribution.
Recognized in each category were winners, first and second runners-up, and honorable mentions. The winners from each category were then nominated to compete for the top award: 2022 Building of the Year.
