Bilco’s VP of sales and marketing to retire

The Bilco Co., New Haven, Conn., has announced the retirement of Dominic DeConciliis, its Vice President of Sales and Marketing. DeConciliis joined Bilco in 1989. According to the former telecom industry executive, he was attracted to the position because of the opportunity to work for an industry leader with quality products, as well as the company’s tremendous potential for international growth. Among his accomplishments in two decades with Bilco, DeConciliis:
·Spearheaded the development of the company’s international strategy, establishing a presence for Bilco and its products in over two dozen countries around the globe. ·Expanded the company’s presence in domestic markets for its existing products and through the development of new products to meet specific customer needs. ·Broadened sales channels for both the company’s architectural and residential product markets. ·Introduced new designs for Bilco’s flagship steel basement door and initiated the development of a new line of composite basement access products. ·Led the marketing strategy for the addition of emergency egress window wells to the company’s residential product line. “Dom has been an outstanding strategist, marketer, sales executive and leader for Bilco,” said Robert J. Lyons, Jr., Bilco’s president. “During his tenure, we have introduced and grown our window well line; we have greatly expanded our presence internationally; and our domestic architectural product sales have more than doubled.” DeConciliis will remain with the company through the end of September 2010 as part of its transition strategy.
