Steve Phillips, Vice President of Health, Safety and the Environment for Trico Lift, recently spoke at a safety workshop held in Kansas City, Mo., for the American Contractors Insurance Group, Inc. Phillips addressed the group about safe aerial work platform operating and training standards. Attendees at the conference for safety and claims professionals, included Safety Managers, Superintendents, Project Engineers, Claims Managers, Safety/Claims Coordinators. Phillips conducts formal classroom as well as on-site training for several thousand equipment operators each year. Under Phillips direction, Trico Lift and the company’s employees receive access industry recognition for safety milestones and accomplishments including a Contractor Merit Safety Award presented by the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association for safe work performance.
