The Fabricators & Manufacturers Association will host the World Class Roll Forming Workshop April 20-21 in Dallas, Texas. Speakers at the workshops will include Formtek’s John Kopsick, who will be discussing the basics of roll tooling design, as well as Paul Williams, speaking about in-line punching technology. In addition to the training sessions, the workshop will include a plant tour of Dietrich Metal Framing and a visit to the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. For more information, visit www.formtekgroup.com. Note from Formtek: This recession has hit everyone in the metal forming industry; including our customers, competitors and vendors as well as us. Additionally, there have been several casualties of idling, restructure and liquidations. Among these casualties are companies with names similar to ours, such as FormTech, which have no relation to the Formtek Group. Thanks to the financial backing of our parent company, Mestek, Inc., the Formtek Group has maintained a strong balance sheet to weather the storm of this recession.
