On April 10, Waller, Texas based Green Span Profiles held an open house for customers, suppliers and industry friends. Approximately 275 people attended the open house and participated in plant tours and enjoyed a catered lunch of boiled crawfish and BBQ. The menu was selected as a subtle reminder of the Green Span Profiles joint venture. “Being a Texas based company, we felt Texas BBQ was appropriate and the crawfish was a tribute to our partner, Louisiana based McElroy Metal”, says Green Span Profiles Director of Sales and Marketing, Brian Jaks.
After months of construction and manufacturing line assembly, the initial Green Span Profiles insulated metal panels rolled off the line in January of this year. “After so much planning and effort, it felt great to get our new continuous manufacturing line up and running and start selling our product to customers,” says Green Span Profiles president, Kelly Ginn. Ian McElroy, president of McElroy Metal adds, “We have been talking about Green Span Profiles with our customers for close to a year now. It is a wonderful feeling to finally have product to sell. Our customers are very excited about having a new source for their IMP needs.”
