Harmon Inc., Eden Prairie, Minn., announced two promotions—Chad Hoffmann has been promoted to vice president of operations, and Robby Sauls to vice president of contract sales. Both report to Russell Huffer, chairman and chief executive officer of Apogee Enterprises, parent company of Harmon Inc. Hoffmann, who has been promoted to vice president of operations, had been Harmon director of operations since December 2008. He previously had served as a Harmon general manager since 2007 and prior to that had been promoted to an operations manager in 2006. He joined Harmon in 2004 as senior project manager in Minneapolis. Prior to joining Harmon, he held project management positions at Enclos Corp. for eight years. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University, Houghton. Sauls, who has been promoted to vice president of contract sales, had been director of contract sales for the eastern United States since January 2009. He previously had served as a Harmon general manager since 2000, having joined the company in Atlanta in 1999 as a project manager. Prior to joining Harmon, he held project management positions at Cay Architectural Products and Sunbelt Glass for seven years. He has a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering technology from Southern Polytechnic University, Marietta, Ga.
