Laminators Inc. announced the promotion of Johanna Goodwin to Architectural Inside Sales Manager, as well as welcoming Jake Austin as an Inside Sales Representative and Dihya Doufene as a Construction Services Technician. These positions were created to support the growth and development of the architectural products division.
Johanna Goodwin joined Laminators in January 2020 as an Administrative Assistant to later be transitioned into an Inside Sales Representative role in April 2020. With her new role as Architectural Inside Sales Manager, Goodwin will be responsible for working with current major accounts, management of the inside sales team and providing oversight of the independent sales representatives in the field. She will provide customer service support to architects, installers, contractors, distributors, independent reps and Regional Managers while managing the organization’s key accounts within numerous territories. Goodwin will also continue to be the representative for the Midwest area (ND, SD, NE, IA). Having held various positions, including Customer Service Manager and Inside Sales for over 15 years at Benjamin Obdyke, Goodwin has a plethora of knowledge in the buildings products industry. “Johanna has been a key part of our success, and we were thrilled to promote her to this important position,” says Shawn Crouthamel, Architectural National Sales Manager.
With the most recent addition to the growing sales team, Jake Austin joined Laminators in July 2021. As Inside Sales Representative, Austin will be responsible for providing customer service and technical support to architects, installers, contractors, distributors and Regional Managers. His territories include Chesapeake (TN, WV, VA, DC, MD); South Central (KS, MO, OK, TX, AR, LA); and Southeast (MS, AL, GA, FL). Prior to Laminators, Austin has held various positions at Fluortek, Easton, PA as a Quote Analyst, Engineer Technician, and Quality Technician. Austin graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College, Schnecksville, PA in 2017.
The newest project team member in the rapidly growing Construction Services department for Laminators is Dihya Doufene. Doufene joined Laminators in June 2021 as a Construction Services Technician. Doufene will perform a wide array of tasks such as—producing shop drawings, producing programs in proprietary software for use with a CNC machine, performing material takeoffs, providing drafting support relative to ACM products, and associated technician-level support to the Construction Services team. Prior to Laminators, Doufene worked as an Architect for ARK Architecture / Urbavision Architecture and BATEG Architecture. Doufene graduated from University of Algeria in July 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering. She is currently working on a Computer Science degree at Bucks County Community College, Pennsylvania.
All positions are based in the Hatfield, Pa., office (headquarters). Austin reports to Goodwin and Doufene reports to Mike Lukac, Construction Services Manager. Both the sales and construction services departments report to Crouthamel.
