Houston’s Metallic Products is taking steps toward future growth with the company’s newest addition. Keith Kimmel II joined the metal building accessories manufacturer in late October as vice president of sales and marketing.

In his newly created role, Kimmel manages the inside sales team while also working with customers to create custom ventilation packages, build relationships and ensure a positive overall experience.
Relationships are the cornerstone of any successful business, Metallic Products Owner and President Travis Wendt said.
“As a family-owned company, what we do is personal,” he explained. “We enjoy getting to know our customers and helping them out however we can. Having Keith on board is going to allow us to step up our game for those we serve.”
At the same time, Wendt said, Kimmel can also help pave the way for Metallic Products’ potential expansion into new markets.
Kimmel brings a range of experience to his role with Metallic Products.
The Comanche, Texas, native earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Abilene’s Hardin-Simmons University, where he also studied marketing. His past work includes time in IT sales, financial services and related business-to-business sales roles.
As he enters this new phase in his career, Kimmel said he looks forward to putting his past experience to work in ways that benefit both Metallic Products and its customers.
“This is a company with great products, great people and a solid reputation,” he said. “I’m excited to offer customers an even better experience, and to play a role in helping Metallic Products take its next step forward.”
