The National Roofing Contractors Association’s NRCA University now offers Profitability Through Effective Safety Programs, a new daylong program funded by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The course focuses on a safety program’s critical elements that can reduce injuries, sustain productivity and increase profitability. Topics addressed include a risk management approach to safety; identifying risks; risk transfer techniques and strategies; effective safety training programs; discipline policies that change behavior; and safety committee structure and purpose. Each participant receives classroom materials and a resource guide in an electronic format developed specifically for the class. These resources will help participants create a safety program suitable for safety and health compliance that can be used in client proposals and submittals. The program will be held in several cities throughout the U.S. For more information or to register, visit www.nrca.net/nrcauniversity or contact NRCA’s Customer Service Department at (866) ASK-NRCA (275-6722) or info@nrca.net.
