Southern Aluminum Finishing Co. Inc., Atlanta, adds a three-day paint service for in-stock aluminum extrusions and sheet. The SAF 3-Day Out Paint Program features quality, Fluoropolymer painted, extrusions and sheets in just three business days. “With coordinated efforts throughout the company, SAF has demonstrated our ability to consistently fill custom paint orders faster than anyone in the industry,” according to Penn McClatchey, SAF vice president of marketing. “The 3-Day Out Paint Program is a formal commitment to our extrusion and sheet customers, who’s profits often depend on on-time performance.” Even with qualifiers, the program has met a real need for customers requiring quick turnaround painted aluminum. To be eligible for the 3 Day Out Paint Program customers must select from catalog-listed, in-stock aluminum sheet or extrusions, and choose colors from the SAF stock paint and SAF EZ mix color lines. EZ mix colors are SAF mixable, or mixed to match paint panel samples submitted earlier. If paint color is not on file, panels can be submitted for custom match. EZ mix colors are two-coat Fluoropolymer AAMA 2605 compliant coating, which is non-exotic, non-XL, non-Metallic, non-mica and non-barrier. While the 3-Day Out Paint Program is also limited to orders less than $5,000, SAF encourages customers with larger orders to challenge their SAF representatives for quick turnaround of larger jobs that meet other program criteria.
