The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) welcomes Dustin Young as the director of business development for the construction program. Young is responsible for managing the optimization of the AISI construction programs by providing strategic leadership to direct multiple construction committees and implement program business plans. He succeeds Dan Snyder, who was promoted to AISI vice-president, construction program. Before joining AISI, Young was the manager of technical and research activities for the Association for Materials Protection and Performance.
“[Young] brings a strong background in strategic business planning and extensive experience in technical committee management and program implementation to our AISI construction team,” says Snyder. “Over the course of his career, he has worked primarily in the bridge market, and will now be expanding his expertise to include building codes and standards and the renewable energy market. We look forward to his contributions to advancing the competitive use of American steel in traditional and growth markets.”
