CRL-U.S. Aluminum’s TAPER-LOC XAL Adjustable Glass Railing System allows glass angle adjustments to 3/4-inch at a 42-inch height. The angle adjustments compensate for uneven substrates or angular variations between glass lites. Additionally, the angle adjustments create spans of plumb glass aligned at the top edge, even if the base shoe sections are not even. TAPER-LOC XAL Adjustable Glass Railing System can be used with 11/16-inch and 27/32-inch laminated tempered glass. The system works with adjustable tapers made of high-strength, engineering-grade polymer. The TLK12 precision torque tool compresses and expands the tapers in thickness, and mechanically locks glass panels to base shoes.
