YKK AP America Inc.’s YES 60 line of storefront systems accommodates tall and wide storefront openings. The 6-inch solutions include corners and thermal doorframes and span to 14 feet. They have sill flashing without blind seals, tall back leg for enhanced water resistance and three-point attachment of end dam. YES 60 FI accepts 1/4-inch to 1-inch low-E insulating glass and works in climate zones 1 and 2. YES 60 TU is thermally broken and has large spanning capability and ThermaBond Plus, which improves adhesion of polyurethane thermal break material to extruded aluminum. The TU model accepts 1-inch insulating glass and is outside glazed. Optional side-lite curtainwall covers, pre-engineered corners and alternative anchoring systems are also offered.
