In its design for American Greetings Corp.’s Creative Studios and corporate headquarters, CallisonRTKL used insulated metal panels (IMPs) to showcase a contemporary aesthetic, and American Greetings’ corporate colors and creative identity. IMPs in three colors were used for the project: Pewter, Red and Midnight Bronze.
In total, Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal Inc. fabricated, and A.C. Dellovade Inc. installed more than 45,000 square feet of CENTRIA’s Formawall IMPs. In Pewter, there are 2-inch-thick IMPs, horizontal and vertical, and vertical Formawall DS60 IMPs, all with a smooth Sundance AM coating.
In Red, there are 2-inch-thick IMPs, horizontal, with a smooth Fluorofinish coating. In Midnight Bronze, there are 2-inch-thick Formawall IMPs, vertical, with a smooth Fluorofinish coating. The 660,000-square-foot facility houses a large courtyard, meeting rooms, offices, photo studios and showrooms.
