RSP Architects Ltd. incorporated overhangs with metal soffit panels that mimic wood on a four-story office building at Camelback Collective, a mixed-use development that also has a five-story hotel building, transit shelter, and above- and below-ground parking lots. The complex also has metal roofing on the office building and transit shelter, and a screenwall on the hotel.

For the office building soffits, Kovach Building Enclosures fabricated and installed 5,000 square feet of Rollfab Metal Products’ 6-inch-wide Aluamboard metal panels with V-grooves in three wood grain finishes: Dark Knotty Pine, Hazelnut Brown and Table Walnut.

For the office building roof, Kovach fabricated and installed 800 square feet of Rollfab’s MS-200HP standing seam roof system in Silver Metallic. For the transit shelter roof, Kovach fabricated and installed 240 square feet of Rollfab’s RMO 7236 metal roof panels in Slate Grey. For the screenwall at the hotel, Kovach fabricated and installed 640 square feet of Rollfab’s RMP 3-6-24 metal wall panels in Slate Grey.

Camelback Collective’s 3.6-acre site is bordered by a commercial area, residential area and E. Camelback Road. The 115,000-square-foot office building features 30,000-square-foot floor plates, high ceilings, full-height glass with operable windows, and balconies. The hotel building, Marriott’s AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore, has 160 guest rooms.
