The complex is made up of two 12,000-square-foot (1,115-m2) medical buildings that are located on adjacent lots in a new professional park in a growing area of town. The project utilized Varco Pruden’s rigid frame system with an extensive, columned canopy on the front, with cultured slate roof covering and non-metal walls on the exterior.
Varco Pruden also supplied its standing-seam roof for the project. The front of the buildings have stepped mansard-roofed canopies that cover the walkway and entrances. The site is enhanced with extensive landscaping and site lighting. The project features a variety of energy-efficient items, including ceiling and roof insulation (R-30 plus), R-19 walls, high-efficiency HVAC and insulated glass with large shaded areas over the storefront. The building is occupied with several doctors’ offices, an urgent care center, a lab and offices for an in-home nursing care company.
