DiGiorgio's Sportswear, Omaha, Neb.

Completed in June 2009, the $1.2 million, 10,400-square-foot (966-m2) sportswear store features a curtainwall design for retail display accented with brick and curved canopies. A baseball themed mural highlights the entry with “stadium lighting” in the parking lot. Retail is in the front finished area, while embroidery and sub-screening operations are in the rear half of the building.

American Buildings Co. supplied a standard metal building with columns, rafters and purlins with stud wall furnished farming for the project. American Buildings also supplied its Galvanized metal standing-seam II roof system and Architectural III metal wall panels in Light Stone. The metal roof and wall panels featured a SmartKote 70 percent PVDF resin supplied as Kynar 500 or Hylar 500, manufactured by PPG Industries.
