The 10,500-square-foot bike shop is a single-slope retail facility. American Buildings Co. supplied the project’s Rigid frame metal building system, along with its Architectural 3 wall panels that change color 16 feet above the finished floor. The building’s roof is a conventionally framed radius roof system over the entrance clad with an Ultra Batten standing seam concealed fastener roof panel in red. The vertical wall surfaces under the curved roof and at the entrance area sports an Ultra-Rib horizontal concealed fastener wall panel in silver.
The rest of the roof features Galvalume standing seam roof panels. The north endwall features a curtainwall glazing system and butt glazed corner display glass. The areas between the glazing systems are also clad with decorative Ultra-Rib horizontal corrugated wall panels in silver. A free-standing sign support system wraps around both north and east walls at the entrance area that is painted bright red to match the decorative curved roof panels.
