Metal roofing was used to coordinate with other architecture on campus for the facilities operations building and four storage buildings at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. New Atlantic Contracting was the general contractor and Grieme Roofing was the installer. The project utilized 39,600 square feet of McElroy Metal’s 22-gauge Maxima 216 ADV metal roof panels in Slate Gray Kynar and 2,400 square feet of McElroy’s 22-gauge Marquee-lok soffit panels in Slate Gray Kynar. Grieme Roofing also used 6,500 square feet of McElroy’s 22-gauge flat stock for field fabrication of trims.
