As part of a property-wide renovation project at Hilton Boston Dedham, Group One Partners Inc. specified two metal feature walls in the lobby. One is at the wall behind, and ceiling above, the reception desk; the second surrounds a fireplace.

For the feature wall and ceiling at the front desk, Omega Development Corp. installed some solid aluminum sheets and some aluminum sheets with laser-cut openings. For the solid sheets, Omega Development installed 256 square feet of Móz Designs’ solid aluminum sheets in Khaki with its Fog grain and Polycoat Matte finish. For the sheets with laser-cut openings, the company installed 160 square feet of Móz Designs’ aluminum sheets in Khaki and Fog grain with Polycoat matte finish. The laser-cut sheets are backlit to illuminate the recessed space. Omega Development used matching trims and rivet fasteners in the installation.

The second feature wall is floor-to-ceiling aluminum sheets surrounding a fireplace. The aluminum has a suede-like appearance and reflects daylight from skylights. For the installation, Omega Development used 680 square feet of Móz Designs’ aluminum sheets in Khaki and Fog grain with Tuffcoat finish, matching trims and rivet fasteners. Hilton Boston Dedham’s renovation project was completed in April 2017.
