Ziwa Corp. completed a design-build project with a metal building system to construct Hynes Event Center at Llano Grande Resort and Country Club. The project included a 23,310-square-foot first floor and 4,410-square-foot mezzanine on the second floor. A 1,000-square-foot, steel-framed porte cochere was built at the front entrance and two covered patios, totaling 1,000 square feet, were constructed on the exterior.

The building has a 126-foot clear span to allow for maximum seating. In the main ballroom, 1,250 seats have unobstructed views of the stage. The floor plan also provided ample space for windows in a bar area overlooking one of the two covered patios. The second covered patio has views of a dog park and lake.

Ziwa installed 25,270 square feet of Varco Pruden Buildings’ standing seam roof system in Terra Cotta for the project. It also installed 7,925 square feet of Varco Pruden Buildings’ R-Panels in White on the exterior. Hynes Event Center was completed in January 2016.
