Noble Public School’s fine arts auditorium and gymnasium, has a playful nod to the school’s bear mascot; the facility was dubbed The Den. It replaced an auditorium built in 1950. TAP Architecture designed a multipurpose, two-story, 50,000-square-foot building.

Forming 17 clouds above the performing arts’ audience seating area, Rockfon’s Planostile lay-in aluminum ceiling panels were acoustically improved with an Acoutex backer. Complementing the ceiling clouds’ performance, a Metalwood Cherry wood grain finish presents a refined aesthetic with practical durability. Extruded aluminum Infinity perimeter trim is finished to match in Cherry, framing the ceiling clouds. Rockfon’s metal ceiling panels can achieve up to 0.9 noise reduction coefficient (NRC). Lasco Acoustics and Drywall Inc. installed the aluminum ceiling panels and perimeter trim.
