The $20.5 million science center features 3,175 kilograms of Evergreen pre-patinated copper from Revere Copper and 9,000 square feet of aluminum mullions in Kawneer Co. Inc.’s 1600 Curtainwall with a Kynar finish. The science center also contains 230 tons of structural steel framing from Novel Iron Works. The 40,000-square-foot building houses 14 classrooms and four labs, as well as a large room for independent student science projects.
