In its design for Ridley Township Municipal Marina, Catania Engineering Associates Inc. specified standing seam roof panels to emphasize crisp lines on the building’s contemporary façade. Clarice Jones, project architect at Catania Engineering Associates, says, “The seaming is punched out; I saw a particular style. I liked the way the seam looked in profile; it was a nice, tight look.”

EP Donnelly Inc. installed 10,500 square feet of Petersen Aluminum Corp.’s Snap-Clad roof panels and 1,500 square feet of vented PAC-750 Soffit Panels. The sloped design is interrupted on both sides with three triangular window dormers, requiring complex detailing. A multi-gabled cupola required similar attention.

Ridley Township Municipal Marina is on a 14-acre property on Darby Creek, less than a mile from the entrance to the Delaware River. It is owned by Ridley Township and leased to a restaurant.
