A 27,000-square-foot aviation hangar addition and office renovation was completed for TAC Air fixed base operator (FBO) at Bradley International Airport. The design-build project included a 140-foot-wide by 190-footlong metal building system that is more than 44 feet tall. The pre-engineered addition has a 10-foot brick veneer and a 180-foot-wide by 29-foot-tall rolling door. It is insulated with Thermal Design Inc.’s Simple Saver System. The office renovation was completed with new finishes including a porcelain reception desk, millwork, windows, ceilings, lights, paint and tile flooring.

Chief Buildings supplied the metal building system, 24-gauge Galvalume roof panels and 26-gauge steel PBR wall panels in Sierra Madre.
