The BenchSpace is a 5,200-square-foot office building with smooth metal cladding on the majority of its façades in two contrasting colors: silver and copper. The silver and copper panels differentiate between the massing with a standardized grid pattern on one part and large, linear panels on the other part. The building’s two main towers, which contain stairs and elevators, are clad in horizontal ribbed metal to contract and provide accents. The two towers, at opposite corners of the building, are ground lit with wall washing lighting fixtures to further enhance the ribbed panels’ characteristics.

Horizontal metal floor-line accent bands signify key architectural elements of the building, the entry and lobby, and accent corner. Additionally, the metal complements the horizontally accented aluminum entry/lobby storefront framing and vertical silicone butt glazing system.

E.C. Contracting Inc. installed 3,700 square feet of Alucoil North America’s 4-mm-thick Larson PE core metal composite material (MCM) in three colors: PPG Industries Inc.’s Duranar fluoropolymer coating in Silver Metallic, Bright Copper Metallic, and, for trim and accent bands, Classic Bronze. On the building’s two main towers, E.C. Contracting installed ATAS International Inc.’s ribbed metal wall panels in Rocky Grey.
