Wild Dunes Resort Isle of Palms, S.C.

The customer chose Galvalume metal roof systems from McElroy Metal to fit in with the beach vernacular of the Wild Dunes Resort area. It was important to have the project fit in with the local design features of surrounding structures. They also wanted to provide the owner with a roof system that would meet the stringent 130 m.p.h. wind loads required by the local building code. McElroy Metal’s Maxima 2:16, 24-gauge Galvalume Plus and Multi-Cor Galvalume Plus were utilized on the project.
