The Metal Construction Association (MCA) announced the establishment of the MCA Scholarship Program for employees of member companies. The program is exclusive to MCA members, their spouses, children, and grandchildren.

Scholarships will provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education in any field. Students currently attending college or graduate school are also able to apply if they meet the criteria. Recipients are selected by a scholarship committee based on MCA member status, education transcripts, and a written essay, which includes the applicant’s goals and how the scholarship will assist them. Optional criteria include personal references and extracurricular activities.

“The program is a valuable benefit to employees of MCA member companies,” says Brian Partyka, chair of MCA. “MCA is continually seeking out ways to engage with our members, and we are looking forward to connecting in this new way.”

Award applications are due February 1. Winners will be announced by May 1. For more, visit MCA’s website.
