McElroy Metal has announced the retirement of senior vice president, Ken Gieseke, after 34 years of service. Ken joined the company in 1991 and has since played a critical role in its growth and success.
Throughout his career, Gieseke led marketing and sales efforts while championing the company’s digital transformation and being instrumental in expanding into new markets. He also helped foster a strong internal culture following McElroy’s transition to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) structure.
“Known for his collaborative leadership and commitment to people, Ken leaves a lasting legacy of innovation, integrity, and care. As he steps into retirement, Ken looks forward to spending time with his family, traveling, and embarking on new adventures,” a company press release reads.
Gieseke was recently inducted into the Metal Construction News Hall of Fame at the Metal Buildings Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) annual conference in Charlotte, N.C.
