Alternating between triangular protrusions and flat areas, the façade looks like an over-sized, rippled washboard. These counterposed geometries are part of the main façade on the four-level San Jose State University Parking Garage in San Jose, Calif. Bearing the University’s yellow and blue colors, the bent and flat metal panel pieces create the effect of movement and evoke the surrounding hills.
