Metal shear is adjustable

Metal shear is adjustable

To adjust the blades on Malco Products SBC’s TurboShear for corrugated metal, remove the hex key from the drill adapter arms and insert it in the set screw on the backside of the housing. Markings on the housing, + and -, indicate more and less gap. Wearing gloves, spread the blades apart to see the maximum gap the current adjustment allows. Then, tighten or loosen the set screw until the desired gap is achieved. When cutting steel, a minimal gap similar to a tin snip with slight contact, but no resistance, is recommended.
