Located on the 40-acre (16-hectare) Centegra Health Campus, the 120,000-square foot(11,148-m2) facility presents a high-tech exterior look that features a “running bond”panel pattern plus random placement of two different silver colors of Metl-Span panels. The running bond pattern creates a distinctive appearance by staggering the vertical joints between panels.

The project utilized approximately 26,000 square feet (2,415 m2) of Metl-Span 2-inch(51-mm) Architectural Flat insulated panels, the majority of which were 24 by 64 inches (610 b 1,626 mm). Approximately 11,000 square feet (1,022 m2) of Silver Metallic and Custom Silver panels were used throughout the elevations, in addition to 4,000 square feet (372 m2) of panels in Gray Velvet for the accent.

The differ in silver color panels were installed in a computer generated random pattern.

All-American Exterior Solutions installed the panels and field-fabricated the corners due to the running bond design. “The guys definitely had to pay close attention to the shop drawings,” according to Mike Underwood, project manager. “Initially, the staggered joint panels were thought to be a challenge with the added water protection components but they turned out beautifully.”
