The introduction of the Metal Construction Hall of Fame helped recognize the people who have shaped the industry
In 2016, in addition to the five honorees, the Hall of Fame inducted eight members as the inaugural class of Founders. Each following year has a maximum of three founders in the class, nominated by each of the partnership associations. Since 2012, there have been 55 people inducted in one of these categories: manufacturer/supplier; contractor/ installer; and friend of the industry. The Metal Construction Hall of Fame is a partnership between the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA), the Metal Construction Association (MCA), the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) and Modern Trade Communications.
