After 41 years serving metal building contractors and erectors, the MBCEA has been working with the top contractors and erectors and their leaders, along with the MBCEA chapters and national board, to bring the organization to the forefront as the number one association in the industry representing metal building contractors and erectors.
The mission of the MBCEA is to support the professional advancement of metal building contractors, erectors and our industry. In doing that, we encourage all of our associates, colleagues, members and everyone involved in metal building industry to help us reach our goals.
One of our goals is continuing education for contractors and erectors, which is why MBCEA formed the Metal Buildings Institute in 2001 to oversee all of our education and training efforts. The Metal Buildings Institute created the Quality and Craftsmanship DVD Training Series and also the new MBI Apprenticeship Training Program for the training of assemblers in pre-engineered metal buildings.
MBCEA is very supportive of our regional chapters, including the Carolinas, Kansas, Mid-Atlantic, New England and Southeast Chapter. These individual chapters of the MBCEA offer well-planned chapter functions, events and training, and we encourage our members to participate in these active groups.
We also want to congratulate Metal Construction News on its 30th anniversary. Providing valuable information to all of the metal building and construction markets across the country for thirty years is an impressive feat, and we look forward to working with MCN in the future as our industry and membership continue to grow.
