What is your favorite metal, and why? Hot-rolled steel. It’s the most durable and fun to watch getting installed.

Which current structure/building anywhere in the world would you love to see built in metal, and why? Pretty much any building can be built out of steel and metal these days.

Which quality do you most admire in others? Accountability

What is your professional motto? Did you get it in writing?

What do you consider the most overrated virtue in general? Patience. I do not agree with the saying that “the best things come to those who wait.”

Which living person would you most like to meet, and what would be the first question you would ask them? Mark Cuban. What’s your view on failure?

Which words or phrases do you most overuse? Did you get it in writing? Communicate.

Which superpower would you most like to have, and how would you use it? Fly. I’d use it to go see all the projects we are building and shake our team members’ hands.

What is your most treasured possession? My daughters

If you were not in the metal industry, what would you do for a living? Probably a coach or a lawyer.

Which historical figure do you most identify with, and why? That’s a tough one. Does Chewbacca count?

What is your beverage of choice? Mtn Dew Zero Sugar

Which current building, constructed in metal, do you admire the most? I love Lifeguard Arena in Henderson, Nev. It’s such a sharp-looking building with different metal accents.
