Kenilworth Media Acquires Metal Architecture, Metal Construction News

Kenilworth Media Inc., a Forum Media Group company, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, has acquired the magazines Metal Architecture and Metal Construction News from Modern Trade Communications Inc. (MTC), Skokie, IL.

Metal Architecture is the leading authority on the use of metal in architectural applications and building design, educating architects, design professionals and engineers engaged in new construction, retrofit, renovation and modernization of buildings.

Metal Construction News is the original news magazine of the metal construction industry and is the premier source for news, products and strategies. Devoted to educating building systems contractors, general contractors, suppliers, manufacturers and more, each issue features project overviews, field techniques, and technical issues dealing with the metal construction industry.

“We are pleased to add these two magazines to our publication portfolio,” said Kenilworth CEO Erik Tolles. “They are a perfect fit and build on our existing knowledge of the construction industry. Readers and advertisers can expect the same level of quality and service and we look forward to growing and strengthening the magazines’ presence both online and in print.”

“I have no doubt Kenilworth, with its decades of experience in the metal construction industry, will continue to build on the successes of these two magazines,” said John Paul Lawrence, MTC President. “This is an exciting time in the history of these publications and that of the industry itself. Kenilworth brings a lot to the table which will only help these magazines thrive in the years to come.”
