The Oklahoma Building Chapter of The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) named Flintco, LLC Oklahoma City Division President Mark Grimes “2011 Builder of the Year” and honored Flintco with a prestigious “Build Oklahoma Award” at the association’s 72nd annual awards banquet on Jan. 21, 2012 at the Renaissance Hotel in Tulsa.

“We are extremely pleased to see Mark’s commitment, professionalism and experience recognized by his peers and AGC,” says Tom Maxwell, president and CEO of Flintco, LLC. “Mark’s leadership has helped change the landscape of downtown Oklahoma City and the overall growth of our great state.”

Grimes recognition as “Builder of the Year” is the highest honor given to an individual by the organization and recognizes an industry leader each year who exemplifies the AGC’s attributes of skill, integrity and responsibility. Grimes received this honor for his more than 30 years of dedication and commitment to the construction industry.

“This is a tremendous honor for me personally and professionally,” Grimes notes. “AGC’s mission of leading the way through the use of skill, integrity, responsibility and quality is one I take very seriously, and I am honored and humbled to receive this award.”
