The Steel Tube Institute has announced Sam Rubenzer, PE, SE, has joined the organization’s HSS (Hollow Structural Sections) Committee as a technical advisor in the field of engineering.
Rubenzer has more than 14 years experience in structural engineering. He is currently the owner of FORSE Consulting, a structural engineering firm located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin that offers design, consulting and other support services to architects and engineers.Prior to launching the company in 2010, Rubenzer worked for Bentley Systems, managing the structural training team and training structural engineers all over the world on how to use each of the RAM structural engineering software programs to promote responsible and efficient structural design. Rubenzer has also been a practicing engineer at several Midwest firms working on a wide variety of structures including a sports stadium, large exhibition hall, several office buildings, retail structures and multiple education facilities.
