Stalco Construction Inc. promoted Scott Pavick to chief estimator. He previously served as senior estimator.
Following the promotion, Pavick manages the estimating department and is responsible for developing cost estimates and budgets, value engineering, and subcontractor bid evaluation and negotiations. He also heads Stalco’s pre-engineered design/build division, Stalco International Group, which develops pre-engineered structures in collaboration with Varco Pruden Buildings.
Pavick’ experience encompasses architectural and interior design work for Stalco headquarters in Islandia and the pre-engineered Florence Building Supply warehouse in Farmingdale, NY. As project manager, Pavick managed the $10-million Kings Park High School expansion and renovation in Kings Park, NY, and the LEED Silver-certified Tanner Park Pavilion in Babylon, NY. As a senior estimator, he developed Stalco’s successful bids for some of the most prominent projects in the Greater New York area, including the $24-million renovation of the Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology in Queens, NY and the $8.4-million, 60,000-square-foot, LEED Platinum-targeted Battery Park City Community Center in Manhattan.
