Daniel R. Needham of Nucor Announces Upcoming Retirement

Daniel R. Needham of Nucor Corporation has announced he will retire on June 20, 2026.

Nucor Corporation has announced that Daniel R. Needham, executive vice president of commercial, plans to retire effective June 20, 2026.
Needham joined Nucor in 2000 as controller at Nucor Steel Hertford County and subsequently served as controller of Nucor Steel Decatur, LLC and Nucor Steel Utah. He later served as general manager of Nucor Steel Connecticut, Inc., Nucor Steel Utah, and Nucor Steel Indiana. He was promoted to vice president in 2016 and to executive vice president in 2021.

His experience across multiple operations and communities strengthened our position in the North American steel industry and helped the company position itself for continued success.
