Low-slope roofing manufacturer MuleHide welcomed Garen Rodriguez as territory manager for Chicago, where he will serve as the company’s lead contact with customers in the area.
“Garen has a wide-ranging background in commercial roofing, from working for a Tier 1 commercial contractor to conducting warranty inspections and even testing roofing products for fire safety,” said Midwest director Dan Conley.
Rodriguez comes to MuleHide from Waukegan Roofing Co. Inc., a commercial roofing contractor in Waukegan, Ill., where he had served as an operations manager since 2023.
Prior to that, he spent six years as a field service rep for Carlisle SynTec Systems. His introduction to the roofing industry came about when he served as a fire laboratory technician with UL and then as a waterproofing leak technician for International Leak Detection.
In his new role, Rodriguez will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently and according to spec. He will work with contractors and ABC Supply Co. Inc. branches to develop solutions and provide ongoing product, technical, and sales training.
Rodriguez is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served in the fire department. He has an associate’s degree from Harper College in Palatine, Ill.
