Karen Kish

Karen Kish, vice president of sales for Flexospan Steel Buildings Inc., passed away unexpectedly on April 9. She was a 28-year veteran of the Sandy Lake, Pa.-based manufacturer of metal roofing and wall products. Through Flexospan and her industry involvement, Karen touched many in the industry. She is fondly remembered for her self-confidence, intelligence and grace.

As the company expanded and as new innovations in the industry arose, Karen’s position at Flexospan reached far outside of her office. As vice president of sales, she was well known in the metal roofing and siding business for her outstanding knowledge, experience and customer service. She was a member of the Metal Construction Association and attended many seminars and trade meetings and was involved in industry developments and the cutting edge of the new green technology. She was also a member of the board of directors of Flexospan.

In January 2011, Karen and her husband, Steve, moved to North Las Vegas when she decided to step away from the day-to-day operations at Flexospan and semi-retire. She became vice president of western-region sales and continued to stay in touch with the company’s operations.

Memorial contributions may be made in Karen’s name c/o Lakeview Area Helping Hands, P.O. BOX 145, Stoneboro, PA 16153
