Chemcoaters Inc.’s InterCoat ChemGuard provides corrosion protection for galvanized steel. It reacts with zinc to form permanent, covalent bonds on metal surfaces. InterCoat ChemGuard allows for lighter zinc to form bonds; it is unnecessary to apply heavy zinc. The coating is applied on galvanize lines or in custom formulas by coil coaters. InterCoat ChemGuard allows for secondary processing including bending, stamping, post-painting and shearing.
