Big Ass Fan Co. Big Ass Fan’s 84-inch Haiku84 ceiling fan’s aircraft-grade aluminum airfoils are hand-polished for a mirrored finish. It has a stainless steel chassis to reinforce a permanent magnet motor that has triple the torque of the 60-inch Haiku ceiling fan. It can be installed directly onto a standard ceiling electrical junction box. Haiku 84 works in spaces as large as 900 square feet, with ceilings 12 to 20 feet high and is available with white, black and yellow powder coating. |

The Colt Group The Colt Group’s Coltlite natural ventilator, distributed by the Bilco Co. in North America, is available in several standard louver designs. Models are available with double-pane louvers, single-pane louvers and aluminum louvers that can be specified with a powdercoat finish to match a façade. Double-pane louvers are available in a thermally broken design to minimize heat loss. Multiple finishes and glazings are offered. |

Cambridge Engineering Inc. Cambridge Engineering’s SA-350 space heater produces 350,000 British thermal units per hour. The SA-350 may be mounted through-wall, under roof or on a rooftop. SA-Series space heaters use the same blow-through direct gas-fired technology as the larger S-Series, and are sized to heat and ventilate smaller spaces. The stainless steel burners have a five-year warranty and the other components have a two-year warranty. |

Mitsubishi Electric U.S. Inc. Mitsubishi Electric’s Hyper-Heating INVERTER (H2i) R2-Series variable refrigerant flow (VRF) zoning system has flash injection technology that allows it to simultaneously cool and heat down to -4 F. The two-pipe configuration allows for more efficient installation and one outdoor unit can connect to up to 48 indoor units. MacroAir Technologies Inc. MacroAir Technologies’ AirVolution-D features a D-Drive with a compact electric motor capable of handling the consistent torque requirements of a 24-foot diameter industrial fan. AirVolution-D high volume, low speed (HVLS) fans are available in three models: 370, 550 and 780. The 370 has 6- to 12-foot blades and may installed in hotels, retail spaces and offices. The 550 has 8- to 18- foot blades and may be installed in auto repair shops, gyms and farms. The 780 has 20- to 24-foot blades and may be installed in warehouses, airports and stadiums. |

Rite-Hite Corp. Rite-Hite’s Revolution HVLS fan operates at 2 to 3 mph and creates a wind chill factor that can feel up to 7 to 11 degrees cooler. Fans operating in the winter can reduce a facility’s energy consumption up to 30 percent by destratifying air: pushing warm air from the ceiling down to the cooler air at the floor. This air movement also reduces the number of traditional floor fans needed to control a facility’s atmospheric conditions. One HVLS fan can cover up to 22,000 square feet, the equivalent of 10 to 20 floor fans. |
