Dynamic Fastener Dynamic Fastener’s Dyna-Guard snow retention system for standing seam roof systems is an 8-foot-long extruded aluminum stick with a T-shape profile. Dyna-Guard is installed by attaching clamps or brackets to a metal roof and bolting the system to the clamps or brackets. Seven Dyna- Clamps with round-pointset-screws and two models of Sno-Dams are offered. Sno-Dams attach to the back of Dyna-Guard, and inhibit snow and ice from sliding under it. A 2-inch-wide painted strip of metal roof material is inserted in Dyna-Guard for aesthetics. |

They clamp under hems, do not puncture roofing material and do not void roof warranties. Standing Seam Clamp-Ons are made of metal to avoid corrosion caused when connecting dissimilar metals. They are zinc plated and powder coated to match roof colors. Fifty standard colors are available. |

Thybar Corp. Thybar’s Snow Dam has pre-punched holes for fastening to standing seams, which allow panels to move with expansion and contraction. Snow Dam is fabricated from 0.08-inch aluminum with all-welded construction, and is installed with tape mastic between its base and a standing seam to create a watertight seal. It retains 2,000 pounds of unmelted snow and ice and permits water from melted snow to run-off roofs. Snow Dam can be painted to match roof panel colors. |

S-5! S-5!’s DualGuard snow retention system uses two 1-inch pipes to keep snow and ice in place while it melts. The two-pipe system is mounted with S-5!’s mini clamps and comes with two sizes of snow clips to fit a wide variety of seam profiles.
