Insulation system seals building envelopes
Therm-All Inc.’s MaxTight air barrier system for metal buildings consists of a vapor barrier, at least one layer of fiberglass insulation and a continuous air barrier. The air barrier is placed in thermal building envelopes, which protects it from potential damage from holes created for installation of mechanical and electrical systems. MaxTight is compatible with a variety of insulation applications including liner systems, double-layer fiberglass and single-layer fiberglass. The insulation system fully seals building envelopes, and reduces air leakage and air infiltration in building envelopes. MaxTight meets IECC and ASHRAE air barrier requirements for all construction types.

Louvers have hidden mullions
Ruskin Co.’s BLD723 bold line louver with a 7-inch-deep wind-driven rain accent blade and 5-inch-deep wind-driven rain style blade come in a variety of configurations. The louvers have hidden mullions, which provides a continuous blade appearance. To ensure blade alignment in oversized applications, optional hidden end-plates lock blades together, connecting sections.

Zinc withstands corrosive environments
RHEINZINK America Inc.’s RHEINZINK-prePATINA Blue-Grey architectural zinc is produced by accelerating the natural metal’s patination process under factory-controlled conditions before the material is fabricated into wall cladding and other applications. RHEINZINK-prePATINA Blue-Grey architectural zinc can be used in coastal and marine environments and has a potential life span to 100 years.

IMPs are recyclable
CENTRIA’s Intercept Entyre insulated metal panels (IMPs) are 98% recyclable and have a Living Future Declare Label. Panels are compliant with regulations for air, water, structural and high-velocity hurricane zones (HVHZ).

Zinc panels are customizable
Sheet Metal Supply Ltd. rollforms RHEINZINK zinc into standing seam roof systems, flat lock tiles, trapezoidal shiplap panels, reveal profiles, corrugated profiles and custom components. RHEINZINK zinc is certified according to Cradle to Cradle criteria.
