To build the Bluegrass Sportsplex sports and events venue, designbuilder Nett Construction Co. LLC used a custom metal building system. A clear span and multi-span rigid interior frame allow for columnfree floor space for events.
Ceco Building Systems supplied the pre-engineered metal buildings for the 103,000-square-foot building, as well as the roof and wall panels. For the roof for the event space, Double-Lok metal roof panels with Galvalume Plus coating were installed. At an administrative portion of building, BattenLok HS metal roof panels with 2-inch-tall vertical seams in Colonial Red were installed. Three wall panels were used: AVP panels in Ash Gray, PBR panels in Polar White and ShadowRib panels in Charcoal Gray.
