Tapered, copper-colored panels create light and dark reflections of natural light on the Applied Science Center at Ventura College in Ventura, Calif., which was designed by Gensler, Los Angeles. Holland, Mich.-based Dri-Design supplied the panels for both the inside and outside of the 18,600-square-foot building. LED lighting throws shadows and creates visual interest, highlighting the angles. Formed in any direction and with varying depths and degree of slope, the panels can be used for applications where airflow and/or shade are necessary. Merit Metal Products, Oxnard, Calif., installed the panels.
