RJ Bacon Design designed a modern, classic corrugated metal roof with multiple rooflines for a private residence in Phoenix, Ariz.
“Corrugated panels were used for the roof’s entirety to establish a low-profile look that combines modernity and classic roofing practices,” says David Larson, owner at Twin City Sheet Metal LLC. “The roof features gabled ends with corrugated panels fastened directly to the exposed timber purlins.”
On the roof, Twin City Sheet Metal installed Coated Metals Group’s (CMG) 22-mm (0.875-in.) Ultra-Corrugated steel panels with both sides coated in PVDF Dark Bronze. Under the panels, Twin City Sheet Metal installed FT Synthetics Inc.’s FT Platinum HT-SA (high-temperature, self-adhering) underlayment.
On gable walls and dormers, Twin
City Sheet Metal fabricated and installed flush seam panels and FT Platinum
HT-SA underlayment.
